"This place might be the best breakfast place in South Florida." -Gary K.

This is the best-kept secret in Key Biscayne.  The breakfast is second to nothing. The fresh-squeezed OJ right before your eyes. You're always treated like family. Simply the best! Treat yourself if you have the chance.

Awesome restaurant with amazing food and a loving, homey atmosphere! Not too badly priced and wonderful if you want good breakfast food!

This place is a classic American diner at its finest. No frills, good food, and amazing service. It was my daughter's birthday and they all sang her 'Happy Birthday', (they overheard us). I had the steak and eggs - perfect!!! The little one had Nutella pancakes and my wife had an amazing omelet.

We would highly recommend this gem on an island where everything seems a little overpriced.

Iconic Key Biscayne Diner Open for breakfast and lunch.  I have been coming here for 30 years they are open very early so i would go before work or school for my favorite the ted special.

Do you want a hole in the wall diner that knows how to serve plenty of good food and cheap. This is your place then.  Service was great although there were only a couple of us there. The lady would constantly check on things.  Their Café con Leche was wonderful as well as their breakfast.  Quick and inexpensive. Definitely a locals place but worth finding.

Hidden gem in a somewhat up scale touristy place. I'm sure most people the come here are locals. The patrons that were already in the restaurant were talking like they've known each other for years. the lady was so nice. I wish I would've gotten her name. My friend and I shared a breakfast plate. we didn't want to eat so much because we were going straight to the beach. I would highly recommend visiting this place for breakfast and lunch but not dinner because I think they close at 2 or 3pm.

Atmosphere: It is a small place, so don't come with a large group. There is mostly seating at the "bar" on stools. The lady that waited on me was super nice and attentive.

Service: Service was excellent. Waitress was attentive, kind, and fun. The food came out really fast too which was a plus.

Food: I got the veggie omelette with rye toast and it was delicious. It was the perfect size so I didn't feel too full after eating it and I didn't feel starving either.

Would come back again, and highly recommend if you are in the Key Biscayne area!

A true locals spot.  This random little gem can be found tuck away in the back of a shopping center on Key Biscayne.  We came across it totally by accident.  Its small and tightly packed inside, but the staff are warm, friendly, and the food is classic down home goodness.  Its also probably one of the cheapest meals you'll find in all of Miami, let alone Key Biscayne.  We'll definitely be coming back anytime we happen to be in the area.

Best place ever! Great diner with great staff - if you go be sure to get the ted special with 2 eggs over medium . They have other great menu items but for the 15 years I've been going I've never been able to get something besides the ted special.

This is my favorite goto breakfast comfort spot. The Teds Special is what they are known for. Ask for the Mexican cheese grits..... mmmm cheese grits. French toast is so good. They also have really good blueberry pancakes. The staff are like family.

What a cool little place!  Definitely too small for big groups though, we had to wait just for a party of 3.  I would come back with just a party of 2 in the future, much easier.  I second what another reviewer said about this being possibly the cheapest breakfast you can get in all of Miami, - for the three of us, with upgrades and juices and coffees, our bill came out to $35 which is amazing.  We all had eggs, bacon or sausage, and pancakes.  Everything comes out super fast, so if you do have to wait you won't wait long for another party to leave.  The only downside is that it's cash only, and my boyfriend was really disappointed there were no donuts!  We'll be back for sure though, everything was delicious and it's nice to have a quick breakfast.

We came here for Mother's Day breakfast and had THE best service from Laurie! She made my boyfriend and I feel like we were eating in our mothers' kitchens! The food was so good and the service outstanding. I chose this place over a brunch at the Ritz Carlton (too stuffy) and was so happy I did!! It's a short walk from the Ritz and worth every step. Will definitely be back if we ever make it to Key Biscayne again!
